ROADS appear to be clear now around A38 Bristol Road and Dunball Roundabout.

MOTORWAY side of the roundabout is still blocked, expect delays still around the A38 Bristol Road.

CAROL Packer wrote on the Mercury Facebook page, she said: "Heavy traffic heading out of town towards Dunball as lorry overturned on roundabout, all emergency services on scene."

MOTORIST Mark Durrant said: "There was a lorry flipped on its side at the roundabout, it looks as if it took the roundabout too quickly and the weight of it has caused it to tip. The traffic is really bad."

POLICE have closed one lane on the A38 dual carriageway in Bridgwater after a lorry overturned at a roundabout.

The incident was reported at around 1.50pm this afternoon (Friday) when the lorry overturned on Bristol Road at the Dunball Roundabout.

Reports suggest no one has suffered severe injuries and a specialist team are en route to move the heavy vehicle.

I seriously wish that people would not make assumptions regarding speed etc. I was right behind this lorry and saw it turn over. It was NOT speeding! There could be many reasons why this happened and we should leave it to the investigators to decide.
