Man, 36, arrested on suspicion of rape in Blake Gardens
A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of rape following an incident in Bridgwater’s Blake Gardens.
The incident occurred at 1.30am on Sunday, June 8, and officers arrested a 36-year-old man, who has since been released on bail pending further investigation.
A police spokesman said: “The man was arrested on suspicion of rape and has been bailed until June 18.
“The victim is in her twenties.”
