SHOPPERS at the Hankridge Farm branch of Sainsbury’s can help choose the supermarket’s charity of the year in a nomination process running until Sunday (June 8).
The winning charity will be announced later this month and will receive a year’s worth of fundraising and awareness support from the store.
Last year the store raised £2,600 for brain injury charity Headway Somerset.
Sam Bell, of Headway, said: “Working with Sainsbury’s Hankridge Farm over the last 12 months has made such a difference in our cause.
"We’ve raised a fantastic amount which we’re using towards our many rehabilitation service and we’re now looking forward to working with them on the future opportunities."
Shoppers can have their say on this year’s charity in-store or online at www.sainsburys.co.uk/localcharity
