Outbuildings fire investigation in Monkton Heathfield
AN investigation is due to start this morning (June 2) into a fire in Monkton Heathfield yesterday evening.
Firefighters were called by the owners to reports of a garage on fire in Four Acres at 8.48pm.
On arrival they discovered the single-storey garage and outbuildings well alight.
The outbuildings were totally destroyed while the garage was damaged by fire, heat and smoke.
The cause will be investigated by police and fire investigators today.
