CHEESE and cider lovers are in for a treat on June 20 as the West Somerset Railway joins forces with the Somerset Cheese, Cider & Moozic Fest. The main 'Fest' takes place on June 21 and 22 but this year, organisers Cricketer Farm Chedder, have added an additional day dedicated to 50 of the country's most ardent cheese and cider lovers. Travelling to Somerset from all over the UK, all 50 will board the specially chartered 'Cheese & Cider Steam Express' carriage on Friday 20. On the same train, West Somerset passengers who book the special tickets in advance can enjoy a cheese and cider lunch featuring products from the Cricketer Farm, the Exmoor Blue Cheese Company and Sheppy's Company. Passengers can return home from Minehead by any afternoon train but for those who pre-book, a cream tea will be served on the 4.20pm departure. You can book tickets by visiting www.west-somerset-railway.co.uk or by calling 01643-704996.
