Crews responded to a gas cooker fire in Wellington
FIRE crews were called to the Wellington area to tackle a gas cooker fire.
The fire was reported at 6.36pm this evening (Friday) on Penny Close, Wellington.
Crews dispatched found the kitchen heavily smoked on arrival and quickly extinguished the fire.
All persons inside the property had left safely before the Fire Service arrived.
