POLICE have praised “fantastic” support from the public after a tip-off led to thousands of pounds of suspected cannabis being seized from a property near Bridgwater.
Police from Bridgwater carried out a warrant at an address in Wembdon last Monday and found a number of plants in a garage.
They have been sent for forensic examination.
Sgt Gary Young told the Mercury: “We would not have been able to seize all these plants without the help from members of the public.
“This is a fantastic example of how the police and the community can work together to deal with local issues and problems.
