BRIDGWATER is participating in the national 2014 Love Your Local Market campaign.

The campaign, led by the National Association of British Market Authorities (NABMA), runs from May 14 to May 28.

The Bridgwater Town Team is offering incentives, initially to young entrepreneurs (between 18 - 25yrs) and to general traders on a trial basis.

A prize trail is planned, using the Free Bridgwater Town Guide Mobile App and an Italian Market will be in town May 21 to 24 to add an international flavour to the campaign.

Cornhill Indoor Market stalls (open daily 9am – 4.30pm) are housed inside the Cornhill building and feature a family butcher, smoothie stall, homemade cakes, fashion outlets and more.

Sedgemoor District Council are offering the old auction room within the Cornhill Market, at a discounted rate for the two weeks of the event, to young traders. For more information contact Andrew Woodward or Tim Mander on 0845 408 2540.

Every Friday between 9am – 3pm the bustling Bridgwater Castle Market is held in Fore Street.
