Sports court spruced up by Burnham Dreamscheme

First published in News by

THE sports court at Burnham’s BAY Centre has been given a facelift by members of Burnham Dreamscheme.

Young people repaired and |repainted the old wooden fence that runs around the inside of the court.

Dreamscheme spokesman John Alexander said: “Treating the wooden railings that surround the court, it was difficult to know who had most paint – the court or the members!”

“Many thanks to Norman for repairing the rails, PCSO Sam Piers from Avon and Somerset police, and Dreamscheme volunteers Jo, Jaqui, Jonathan and Nicky.”

They earned 30 points to be spent on fun activities such as a trip to the cinema.
