A TALENTED teenage swimming star has been awarded more than £400 by two Burnham groups.
Chloe Edrich received funding from members of Burnham Rotary Club and Burnham Round Table at a meeting at Burnham and Berrow Golf Club.
Rotary president Bernard Raines said: “Rotary has supported Chloe in the past because she is a local Burnham swimmer.
“She was short of a donation for the costumes so we were happy to help.”
Rotary gave Chloe £289 for a new swimming costume for her to wear at national swimming competitions.
Chloe, a member of Taunton Deane Swimming Club, also received another cheque for £163 from Burnham Round Table towards additional swimwear.
The town’s Round Table has closed and given its remaining funds to Chloe.
