SOMERSET Young Farmers have been helping with the flood clear-up.

Jack Muirhead, ARAC chairman, and member Kate Uphill have been working with the NFU to co-ordinate the distribution of forage to affected farms.

Cannington councillor Ian Dyer has been liaising with the council and landowners to allow for Young Farmers’ help to be utilised efficiently.

Bridgwater YFC has been spearheading the clean-up and was joined by members of Brymore, Langport, Polden Hills and Williton YFC.
