THE most impressively decorated shop windows over Easter were celebrated in a competition by the Bridgwater Town Team.

Lisa's Haberdashery in Angel Crescent was crowned the winner with the judges saying the display had a real wow factor.

The display was congratulated for its excellent use of window space and interpretation of the Easter theme using its own products including wool, ribbons and embroidery.

Wilkins Jewellers on High Street came second with a well balanced Easter themed display with rabbits, chickens, jewelled eggs, egg cups, sheep and lambs.

The Treacle Well Tea Rooms came third with their Easter picnic display complete with marshmallow sheep.

A Town Team representative said: “The retail seasonal calendar is a great opportunity for businesses to dress windows and entice shoppers inside. Well done to all who entered.”
