STAFF from Sedgemoor District council will be attending events and fairs across the district to impart information on the work they do.
Their first port of call for the ‘Sedgemoor on the road’ programme will be at Nether Stowey’s May Fayre where the council will be bringing an information stand.
The Fayre is organised by Nether Stowey Parish Council and will run from between 10am and 4pm on Saturday, May 3.
Sedgemoor on the road will also be visiting other events in Brent Knoll, Bridgwater town centre, on St Matthews Field and in Wembdon.
Sam Taylor, Sedgemoor’s community relations officer who organises the programme, said “We think it is really important that the public get to see Sedgemoor at local community events. We know it is not always convenient to contact us so we are coming out to the community, whatever your query we will do our best to help.
“Nether Stowey May fayre is always very well attended with lots of fun and interesting things to keep the family happy. Do come along and visit us there”.
