CHILDREN who had been busy making their own Easter bonnets, baskets or gardens for school got the chance to show them off to everyone this weekend.

An Easter Parade was held in the Marine Cove Gardens on Burnham’s Esplanade last Saturday for everyone to show off their colourful handiwork.

A wide range of activities was available to keep theyoung visitors busy, including an Easter egg hunt, craft activities and a raffle.

Everyone’s handiwork was displayed in a big parade at 11am which included prizes for children under ten years old, teens between 11 to 17 and a separate category for adults. The next event scheduled for Marine Cove is on May 5 when there will be traditional May Day celebrations.
