Residents at Beaufort House have been presented with new wheelchairs.
The Lodge of Agriculture at Yatton wanted to give half the proceeds from its annual farmers’ night in December and asked the residential home what it needed.
Home manager Susan Luck said: “Our general wheelchairs had all started to show signs of wear and parts were becoming harder to find, so I suggested replacing these.
"I was delighted to receive four lovely new wheelchairs for the benefit of the residents. We are extremely grateful for such a useful gift and the residents will enjoy the extra comfort they offer.”
