THE Taunton Vale Point-to-Point race meet at Kingston St Mary on Easter Monday (April 21) proved a hit with families from across the area.
Will Biddick won three of the day's seven races to secure the Angie Burrough Memorial Trophy (for the season's leading jockey at the Cotley, Seavington and Taunton Vale fixtures) with a record 33 points.
As well as the racing, there were Easter egg giveaways for children, plus rides, food stands and face-painting.
A collection was also taken by the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution for farmers affected by flooding on the Somerset Levels.
