JOHNNY Kingdom, Exmoor’s renowned wildlife presenter, film-maker and photographer, was on hand to open a new display at Dulverton’s Guildhall Heritage Centre on April 4.

A permanent exhibition which celebrates Exmoor’s red deer herd with a stuffed Exmoor stag being given pride of place is now on show.

John Burgess and Sue Baker designed the room, which shows the history of the Exmoor herd, the creation of the Royal Forest and the cycle of the moorland year.

The display is open to the public until the end of October.
