FREE web access sessions have been set up at Burnham’s Octopus Children's Centre.
Sedgemoor Digital Link has set-up the sessions to run every Wednesday from April 30 between 1pm and 3pm.
The centre offers a safe, friendly environment to access the web for tasks such as Universal Job Match, learning new computer skills, finding training opportunities as well as registering for welfare benefits or paying bills online.
A spokesman for SDL said: “As more and more services become 'digital', a basic knowledge of IT is really important.”
The centre is located on Winchester Road in Burnham next to the Infants School.
Sedgemoor District Council is being supported by EDF Energy on this project.
