YOUNGSTERS got to see the Easter message enacted by people from St Andrew’s, Rowbarton Methodist and Oakwood Churches in Taunton.
‘Easter Cracked’ was a drama about the last week of Jesus’s life.
The event, which included real donkeys, was performed for about 150 youngsters – Year 5 pupils from St Andrew’s Primary School to Year 7 students from Taunton Academy.
They were invited to be witnesses and participants in the events of Palm Sunday, the Last Supper, the trial and the crucifixion on St Andrew’s Green before exploring the empty tomb and the realisation that Christ was alive.
