Concerns for missing 92-year-old as police launch search

First published in News

POLICE are calling for information to help in the search for a man missing from his home in Taunton.

William Evans, 92, was last seen on Friday, April 11, when he went into Taunton town centre.

He did not attend his regular church service on Sunday.

Avon and Somerset Police says it is "increasingly concerned for his welfare", because of his age and health.

Mr Evans is described as between 5ft 6ins to 5ft 7ins tall, of medium build.

He is bald and often wears a flat cap, as pictured in the photograph.

Anyone who may have seen William is asked to call the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 101.

Alternatively if you want to remain anonymous, please call the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
