Minehead Triathalon is being relaunched this summer ... after a 14-year break.

The event will be taking place over the weekend of June 21 and 22. Juniors aged from eight to 15 can take part on the Saturday with over-15s competing on the Sunday.

The event will be based at Butlins pool.

The senior event is a ‘sprint’ involving a 400m swim, 23km bike ride to Porlock and 5k run along the seafront to finish.

There is also a relay event for both junior and senior events which will involve teams of three joining up to do each individual section of the race.
