LAST year’s winning time was smashed at this year’s Bridgwater 10K on Sunday as 350 runners raced across the Somerset terrain.
Nathan Young, from Wells City Harriers, finished the race with a time of 33 minutes and 27 seconds, beating last year’s time by a full two minutes.
Kieran Young from Wells City Harriers came second and Chris Neil from Bath University came third.
Ellie Davies was the fastest woman to complete the race, finishing the ten kilometre course in 38 minutes and 34 seconds.
