FERNE Animal Sanctuary’s £1million New Digs for Dogs appeal has been given a boost.

Angie Garner, a colour and style consultant from Honiton, held two coffee mornings at her home, which raised £100 for the appeal.

Angie decided to support the sanctuary after it helped her re-home her nephew’s Jack Russell, called Chilli.

The New Digs for Dogs project aims to provide an enhanced kennel block, improved grooming and veterinary care room, information hub, social unit, offices, reception and purpose-built rehoming centre at the sanctuary.
