THE ladies of Bridgwater enjoyed a fine day out of games and dining at Bridgwater and Albion Rugby Club.

More than 100 guests attended the meal as handsome shirtless rugby players served drinks to the swooning ladies and comedian Jennie Robins from Weston attended to entertain the crowd.

Emma Kemmish, who organised the event alongside Michelle Lang, said: “It was a really great day. We started off at 12 with some games and then we had a really nice lunch.”

“We also held a successful raffle with lots of generous donations from local businesses.”

The night raised £550 in total which is going to be donated to Cancer Research UK.
