THE football court at Burnham’s BAY Centre is to be given a face-lift by members of Burnham Dreamscheme.
Young people will be working hard on April 16 to repair and re-paint the old wooden fence that runs around the inside of the court.
Jonathan Smith, project manager for Burnham And Highbridge Youth, said: “We will also pick up all the litter that is in and around the court and Bay centre. “Once we have painted the fence we may paint a few more things to cheer it up!”
Youngsters who want to help are asked to wear old clothes for painting. The group will meet at 10am, have lunch at 12 and be collected at 1pm. They will earn 30 points to be spent on fun activities.
Those who help out will able to take part in a trip to the Ritz cinema on April 17 to see Rio 2, meeting in Oxford Street car park.
