RESIDENTS on a Wellington street are facing more than a week of travel disruption.
Springfield Road will be closed for nine days from Tuesday (April 1), excluding the weekend, while it is resurfaced.
Highways engineers will move in on the site next week and are expected to be there until the following Friday, April 11.
During the works, the road will be closed on the 390-metre stretch from the junction with Corams Lane to the junction with B3187 Station Road.
Somerset County Council says the temporary closure will prevent all traffic from using Springfield Road.
People are being advised to use Corams Lane or Station Road as an alternative.
