THESE stunning aerial photographs show the damage from devastating floods which swamped the Somerset Levels.

Jeremy Pidgeon used a radio-controlled aircraft to take the shots earlier this week, showing how the flood water has receded.

He focused on Muchelney, Athelney, East Lyng, Burrowbridge and Currymoor pumping station.

Water levels have dropped dramatically but thousands of acres of land remain saturated, despite a spell of dry weather.
