THE countdown to summer is well and truly underway at Styles Farmhouse Ice Cream in Minehead and the recent spring sunshine has seen a boom in the company’s sales.
Commercial Director Simon Stokes said the bright weather was a welcome sight and he is hoping for a scorcher of a summer.
He said: “From a retail perspective a lot of our stalls have done really well – we don’t usually start putting them out until after Easter but we had four of our units open this weekend.
“Everyone remembers last summer as being really good but they forget that the start was pretty cold.
“There can’t be much rain left up there so fingers crossed for a hot, sunny summer."
