CHURCHES in Sedgemoor are being asked to help reduce homelessness statistics.

Green Pastures Housing, a national social enterprise, wants to help churches establish facilities for the homeless.

Each partner church houses the homeless in properties identified by the partner and purchased by Green Pastures.

The church places the residents, provides pastoral care, maintains the property and receives support.
