GANDALF and Hedwig attended Haygrove School as students celebrated World Book Day.

Year 7 students dressed up as their favourite fictional characters and took part in a Mad Hatters Tea Party for the event.

Greg Walters, head of Year 7, was tasked with choosing the best dressed students as they took part in a ‘dress-off’ in the library at lunchtime.

Olivia Payne, dressed as the Harry Potter’s trusty owl Hedwig, was awarded first prize.

Ethan Harper dressed as Gandalf and Archie Taylor dressed as the wicked Bellatrix Lestrange took second and third.
