A MOTHER of three from North Petherton is training hard for the London Marathon, while aiming to raise £2,000 for charity.
Debra Ashley, 42, who works as a teaching assistant at North Petherton Primary School, is raising money for the charity Get Kids Going.
The charity's aim is to make sport accessible to disabled children by providing specialised wheelchairs and equipment.
Debra said: “I am now running between 16-20 miles on my long weekend run outs which can prove both very tiring and at time awfully lonely.
“My partner Alan and my two youngest children, Cyra and Bryn, have been incredibly supportive - on many occasions riding alongside me on their bikes.”
