RETIRED social worker Rosemary Marsh has been appointed chaplain to the business community in Taunton’s Station Road – a role she already carries out in East Reach.

She is one of 15 town chaplains from local churches put in place by Taunton Team Chaplaincy Trust.

Chaplains regularly visit businesses to offer friendly and supportive care to owners and staff.

Trust chairman Andy Hall said: “Our chaplains receive a warm welcome wherever they go.

“They are an example of the interest which churches take in all aspects of our society.”
