A DUNSTER shop is undertaking a month long charity effort.
Rohan is running its ‘Gift Your Gear’ initiative during March, which aims to enable people to benefit from life changing experiences in the great outdoors.
Store manager Richard Sussex said: “We are encouraging people to bring any unwanted but usable outdoor trousers, jackets and fleeces into the shop, including children’s outdoor gear, regardless of brand.
“These will be donated to local community organisations, youth groups and charities for outdoor projects.”
The Rohan Shop in Dunster will take outdoor gear of any brand and anyone getting involved will receive a 15% discount off all purchases made on the day.
Anyone interested in benefiting from the donated items should email sarah.howcroft@gmail.com explaining why they want the gear.
The Rohan team will assess all the applications and support as many as they can.
