FOUR new homes are set to be built in East Huntspill after being granted planning permission by Sedgemoor District Council.
This is despite objections from East Huntspill Parish Council who believed the new houses would not fit with the character of the town and create more traffic problems for the area.
The new homes will be built on land at Uffculme Farm on Church Road in East Huntspill.
Sedgemoor District Council only approved planning permission providing there is money put aside to improve children play areas and outdoor sports facilities in East Huntspill.
