A MAN from Watchet has denied trying to kill his half brother.
Michael Prole, 62, pleaded not guilty to charges of attempted murder and wounding with intent when he appeared at Taunton Crown Court via video link from Exeter prison today (February 17).
Mr Prole, of Brendon Road, is accused of trying to kill half brother Robert Prole in an alleged attack on November 9, 2013.
During the brief hearing, Janice Eagles, prosecuting, said the defendant's custody time limit expires on May 12 and Judge Graham Hume Jones was invited to set a timetable.
Mr Prole is likely to face a three-day trial in Taunton but a date is yet to be set. He was remanded in custody.
