THERE is still time to sign up to take part in a big charity swim next weekend.
The committee is busy putting the finishing touches to the 26th Soroptimist Swimathon at Taunton School on Saturday and Sunday, February 22 and 23.
So far, 76 teams have entered the event, which is raising funds for St Margaret’s Hospice, The Albemarle Centre, North Taunton Partnership (Priorswood Community Centre) and the Josh Evans Trust Fund.

People of all abilities can take part and it only takes an hour, with teams of six swimming in relay for 53 minutes. Entry is £8 per team.
The Swimathon has raised a total of £540,000 for charity in the last 25 years.
