STAFF at Taunton’s Six Acres resource centre are pushing themselves to the limit so that adults with learning difficulties they care for can have a bit more fun.
Darren Waine, Aaron Deeks, Nick Rickdoow, Gayle Baldwin and Dan Cooke are taking part in the Tough Mudder challenge to raise money for outdoor play and sensory equipment such as a wheelchair swing/roundabout.
The 12-mile event in London on April 26 is described as the toughest assault course in the world with an obstacle course consisting of extreme heights, underground tunnels, rough terrain and mud, freezing water, fire and electric shocks.
