THE Castle School and Bishop Fox’s School, both of Taunton, swept the board in the Rotary Youth Speaks competition recently.

Castle won the senior competition and also claimed the runners-up spot, while Fox’s topped the intermediate section.

All three teams will now go through to the semi finals later this month.

Tim Duffen, for the Rotary Club of Taunton, said the town has a strong tradition in the Youth Speaks competition, with teams often reaching the national finals.

He added: “The standard this year was again very high so there are high hopes that this year’s teams will do well.”
