POLICE are investigating a fire near South Petherton in which three mobile homes were completely destroyed.
The incident, which involved three gas cylinders, happened on Wednesday (January 29) in Yeabridge Lane, Yeabridge.
At its height five fire engines, from Crewkerne, Ilminster, Martock and Yeovil, and incident command units from Yeovil and Street were at the scene.
Two people were treated by paramedics for shock and smoke inhalation.
Eight breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, four jets and thermal imagine cameras were used to tackle the fire over three hours.
An initial fire investigation was undertaken and was due to continue with Scenes of Crimes Officers.
The cause is still unclear.
