CHILDREN at Stogursey Primary School can now have whole new outdoor lessons.
The school recently acquired a new one-acre field but it needed work before it could unleash its potential as a learning environment.
Volunteers from EDF Energy helped rejuvenate the field, including creating a woodland trail and 35 allotments for growing flowers in.
Tony Harris, school governor, said: “The four day project was the culmination really of years’ worth of work to secure the field behind the school and convert it for the children to use.”
Over 30 volunteers came from Hinkley Point to help build the children their new outdoor area.
