A EUROPEAN election candidate has apologised after identifying the wrong village in his idea for a park and ride train station on the outskirts of Bridgwater.
The Mercury reported how Richard Cottrell, Independent candidate for the West in the May 2014 European elections, was calling for a modern inter-city station in Bawdrip.
But Mr Cottrell has since written to the paper to say that he actually meant to refer to Dunball, and has apologised for any confusion he may have caused residents.
