Gaming centre plan for Eastover store

PLANS to turn an empty shop in Eastover into an ‘adult gaming centre’ have been submitted to Sedgemoor District Council.

Mojo Leisure, based in Burnham, has applied to establish the facility at 37 Eastover.

It would include £500 jackpot gaming machines and low stakes gaming machines.

It will not be offering Fixed Odds Betting Terminals.

The planning consultation runs until February 7.
