STUDENTS from The King Alfred School in Highbridge have been praised for their athletic skills in the National Biathlon Finals.
Year Seven and Year Eight students achieved some magnificent results in the competition, held in Birmingham in November.
Head teacher Andrew Owen said: "Their performances have enabled them to be selected for the Schools Biathlon Ranking List.
"It is a tremendous achievement for King Alfred School to have the six students competing at this high level of competition.
"They are very excited as they now have the opportunity to perform in their competition which is to be held at the Olympic Acquatic Centre.
"Our congratulations go to; Megan Richards, Holly Richards, Libby Tolley, Ella Dollery, Tom Dollery and Catherine Tolley.
"We wish them the very best of luck."
