Trio in court over Somerset sexual exploitation inquiry

THREE people charged with offences relating to a sexual exploitation inquiry have appeared in court today (January 20).
Luke Fuller, 24, of Kingston, Yeovil, Eleanor Dollery, 20, of Preston Road, Yeovil and Jon Smillie, 27, of Hathermead Gardens, Yeovil, were arrested after a series of police raids, including one at a home in Chard in December.
Mr Fuller and Ms Dollery, who have both been charged with trafficking persons within the UK for sexual exploitation and conspiracy to rape a woman aged 16 or over, were granted bail at Taunton Crown Court.
Mr Smillie, who is charged with trafficking persons within the UK for sexual exploitation, raping a girl under 13 and controlling a child aged 13-17 involved in prostitution or pornography, will remain in custody until a plea and case management hearing on March 3.
