YOUNGSTERS from Hambridge Primary School raised £715 for the British Red Cross Typhoon Haiyan Appeal.
Pupils took on a non-stop sponsored workout on an exercise bike and a running machine, and others were sponsored to chant their times tables.
A raffle raised even more funds, which will help people in need in the Philippines.
Red Cross community legacy manager Paul Morgan, said: “The generosity of the pupils, teachers and parents was hugely impressive and I’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who took part in all these great events.
“Having spoken at a whole school assembly the day before the activities, I was well aware of the concern the pupils and teachers had for people in the Philippines – it has been really touching.”
