A FRESH appeal has been made to catch a gang who raped a man in a horrific sex attack in Taunton.
The group who carried out the brutal late-night assault on a path near Greenway Road and Turner Road in November remain at large seven weeks after the terrifying ordeal.
The incident happened when the victim, in his 20s, was approached by a group of around five men, all wearing dark clothes, in the early hours of Sunday, November 17.
No-one has been arrested and the police are urging anyone who was in the area at around 2am or who has any information to come forward.
Police spokesman Martin Dunscombe said: “There has been no significant development and our enquiries are continuing.
“We’d ask anyone who may know anything to come forward and talk to us.”
You can call police on the non-emergency 101 number or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
