SATURDAY, January 4 sees the return of the Dyer:Cummings New Year Ceilidh, taking place at Halsway Manor.
Dyer:Cummings is an exciting ceilidh and concert band based in the South-West.
It plays traditional English folk music with a funky and youthful twist, The first Dyer:Cummings New Year Ceilidh took place eight years ago and since then it has become an established favourite on the ceilidh and festival scene.
The band features Jon Dyer on bass guitar and flute, Penny Dyer on bassoon, Hannah Cumming on fiddle and Alex Cumming, the band’s caller, on piano accordion and bouzouki.
Over the past few years the band has performed at some of the country’s top events including the Priddy Folk Festival, at Colston Hall in Bristol as well as running successful children’s workshops.

The concert starts at 8pm.
