SIXTH Formers at Queen’s College raised funds through an ‘own clothes day’ and a number of social events over the past year to sponsor marathon runner Gerry Hogg.
This week, Holly Brown and Arthur Banks presented a cheque for £693 to Donna Statham of the NSPCC.
Gerry, who works at Queen’s College and is one of the top marathon runners in his age group in the country, keenly supports the NSPCC and he will be running the Cyprus marathon in March and the London Marathon shortly after.
He ran the London Marathon earlier this year in 2:43:59 and Berlin in 2:44:23.
