A GROUP of Spaxton School children, parents and friends braved the weather to participate in a carol singing walk through the village to raise money for charity.
A total of £74.72 was raised for the Philippines Typhoon Disaster Appeal.
Martin Barber, one of the participating parents, said: “It was a good seasonal event enjoyed by children and adults alike, giving all a focus on those in greater need at this time of year.
“Thank you all who sang, played instruments and donated to this worthy cause.”
