YARCOMBE and District Young Farmers Club presented cheques to the charities it has been raising money for this year.
The group raised £3,450 for CLIC Sargant, £1,611.19 for Cancer Research UK, and £300 for the village of Buckland St Mary to be split three ways between the school, pre-school and brownies.
The school, pre-school and brownies were decided upon as many members grew up in the village and went to the school.
The money, which was raised through a charity walk and a cream tea afternoon, will go towards helping future members of Yarcombe and District YFC.
